2022 Theme
Allegiance (noun) :
devotion or loyalty to a person, group, or cause
We want to live sacrificial lives, but we tend to be selfish creatures. We want to live deep lives, but often we find ourselves skimming life’s surface We want beautiful lives, but there's a lot of ugliness inside of us We want holy lives, but we're pretty simple We want adventurous lives, but we’re too apathetic We want to follow Jesus, but we place our allegiance in things of this world
What do we choose to follow?
At NebWyoDak Camp this summer as we break down the Gospel of Mark as we learn to follow Jesus as King of our lives. Looking at the life Jesus lived and the ways he lead the disciples helps us understand our role as followers of him. Let’s start living a the life Jesus as for us as fully allegeint followers of Him.
“Following Jesus means embracing a selfless, crazy, dangerous, God-obsessed life, and that’s something most people refuse to do”
Vince Antonucci.
Romans 6:17 “17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.”
